ArmonyLand
“Do you know that your soul is composed of harmony?”
- Leonardo da Vinci
A land full of harmony, our ArmonyLand, representing the twin characters Armony and Landy and the aforementioned questioning quote by Leonardo da Vinci were the leading forces for our twin schools, Zühtüpaşa İlkokulu from Kadıköy Turkey and 1st Experimental primary school in Alexandroupolis Greece, to develop this eTwinning project during the 2020-21 school year.
ArmonyLand project was based on three main topics: Wellbeing, Media Literacy and Critical Thinking. It was designed to help students think about their well-being while living in harmony in a safe and sustainable world. In the project, students focus on e-safe activities and rules. While trying to make a social experience they are encouraged to avoid misleading and disinformation. They focus on positive thinking and with the help of music they cultivate digital and media literacy, entrepreneurial and self-orientation skills.
Music was present in the project from the very first day, when students introduce themselves with a body percussion writing a code for this purpose.
