Greece and Italy, Angeliki and Marina, Greek students with their partners from Italy started this year working together to understand which behaviours are the best to get on well with everybody and which behaviours must be avoided. They reflected about bullying and took several kinds of initiatives to prevent it. They joined their forces to respect people around them in order to be good children and good future citizens.
At the beginning, both students and teachers reflected on the project motto sharing their thoughts

Students in Greece started preparing Christmas cards for their partner in Italy. They thought also to dedicate these cards to each one of the students in Italy and send them by ordinary post office.
They also wrote a song inspired from the project and following the melody of the Wham's song: "Last Chistmas"
And as they were prepared for the Christmas feast in Greece, we recorded the song Carol of the bells in Greek language prepared by the music teacher.
Students from the two participant countries started working on the transnational teams they formed during their December online meeting to discuss, define and react about the characteristics of a bully!
Monday, 21 st January 2019 (SECOND MEETING ONLINE)
Our students had today an exciting meeting online! We met on Twiddla, a common board. We had the objective of drawing collaboratively a bully, how we imagine him. We also drew a victim, as we imagine him.
This common drawing was the result after working in our transnational teams!!

Here is the collaborative drawing! Happy to present it!
How happy we became at the beginning of February when a present from our Italian partners came to our school. Christmas cards made with love and postcards from Chieti!! We Thank You so much dear Italian friends!!
Both of them used the Flipgrid tool to record the rules they wrote for avoiding bullying at school.
The result was a collaborative blossomed prezi tree full of nutritious ingredients!!
|
A tree, as we all know consist of three parts: the roots, the main body and the branches. All these parts need nutritious ingredients, the Sun and Water to help them being alive and grow up.
Students, from Greece and Italy imagined themselves as a tree which needs good emotions, like the nutritious ingredients to be alive and grow up. They used the emotions they found spinning the wheel in their transnational teams to make their tree blossom!! |
Spinning the wheel of emotions, students from Greece and Italy recognised a lot of good and bad emotions. Using the good of them they made their collaborative tree blossom.
This helped them also while working together in the 5 International teams and using google docs to write collaborative stories with all the emotions recognised by them. These stories were a good start for them to share what they feel in imaginary or real incidents, being bullies, victims, bystanders or living with others in harmony. These stories are published in a prototype ebook of students imaginary or real life.

They interacted in the Twinspace forum writing verses to form their collaborative Antibullying poem!

They prepared games to play with their partners reflecting on what they learned and played their partners games.
At the end of the project, Greeks and Italians prepared a collaborative Antibullying board game. The game is a sort of MONOPOLI with cards. Players must throw the dice and move the game tokens. If a player arrives in a "TAKE A CARD" box, he has to take a card, read the request or question and answer. If he answers correctly, he gains an "ANTIBULLYING STAR". The game is over when all the players arrive at the last box. The winner is the player who have more stars. The table has been made with this tool: board game link, the cards with this one: cards maker link, the dice with this one: dice maker link and the Antibullying winning star with this tool: star badge maker
Here is the table in jpg version. It is printable. There is also a word version below. It's printable too! |

The game exists also in an online version!

Here is the final video with Greeks and Italians playing the Antibullying game!
Greek students participated in the school projects feast, on Wednesday 12 June 2019, preparing a ppt presentation and then printing the most important parts of the project to upload them in a dedicated tableau.Students acted as guides to the audience explaining what they managed to do working collaboratively with their partners from Italy and showing what they achieved with enthusiasm!
It was great to hear comments like: "Congratulations!! This kind of a project should have in our minds when teaching about bullying at school and how to avoid it".
